Vivendi Architects were appointed to put forward designs for the demolition of dilapidated garages to the rear of the site and create a new three storey residential development consisting of three self-contained units.
The development site is located to the rear an existing three storey detached building that serves as residential accommodation for six flats.
The proposed scheme was carried out through a comprehensive planning process with the council to address concerns regarding overlooking and daylight impacts to the existing host building to the front of the site. The council welcomed the opportunity for a contemporary low density scheme on a prominent road.
