Vivendi Architects were appointed to carry out feasibility studies for refurbishment, conversion and extension works to a locally listed building of merit in the Highgate Conservation Area within the London Borough of Haringey.
Having secured a Prior Approval for the conversion of the existing dilapidated office space to residential dwellings we then successfully pursued a Pre-Application and Full Planning Application for extension works and external alterations to facilitate the creation of 4 no. new contemporary dwellings with outdoor private garden areas.
The external finishes of the proposed units were designed with great consideration to the appearance of the existing locally listed building and new elements introduced for the rear extensions and roof dormers were finished with zinc metal cladding to compliment the existing building.
We were then re-engaged to provide Building Regulations and tender package and to assist the Client and Contractor on-site. The project was completed in 2022.
