High Street Front Facade Alt
Mixed Use

High Street

Client: Private Developer
Location: London, N14
Council: Enfield
Project Cost: TBC
Status: Planning Submitted in 2022
Appointment: RIBA Work Stages 0-3

Our scheme is for the refurbishment and extensive extension works to an existing dilapidated two storey mix-use building consisting for additional accommodation at proposed roof level to create a total of 5 x residential units to the upper floors and 2 x commercial units at ground level, along with 2 new build self-contained residential units to the rear of the site.

The proposal has been carefully designed to respect the existing building’s character, following recommendations at Pre-Application consultation stage and a Heritage assessment. The goal is to enhance and restore the existing front façade along the high street and provide a material palette, ultimately improving the streetscape’s rhythm, pattern, and overall character.

The restoration of the front façade was fundamental to this project due to the sensitivity of the site, located within a Conservation area. The scale and architectural detailing aim to create a comfortable residential environment with associated gardens and balconies.

We’re planning to share more news about this project soon.
