Initially appointed for refurbishment and extension works to an existing dwelling, the project’s scope expanded to include the design of an indoor pool house.
The primary focus of the scheme was to preserve the character of the host dwelling without any impact to the existing protected trees, adhering to conservation area guidance, and maximising views of the rear garden. To achieve these goals, a lightweight design approach was adopted, featuring projecting roof canopies to offer sunlight control and privacy.
